Draft Gore Petition Hits 200,000 Signatures on Saturday
Oct. 13 -- The Draft Gore petition has reached another big milestone, crossing the 200,000 signature mark. In the three days since our full-page ad was published in the New York Times last Wednesday, the petition grew by an astounding 63,000 signatures. The petition, started a year ago, calls on Al Gore to run for President in 2008. It includes a comments section, in which signatories add heartwarming comments and stories, and plead with Gore to heed their call to service.
